Weekly Digital Support for Residents – Now at OurSpace
Clear Community Web are pleased to announce the launch of a weekly Online Services Support at OurSpace Community Hub, Croydon, starting Wednesday, 9th July, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
This service, delivered in partnership with Disability Croydon, provides targeted digitalsupport for residents who face barriers accessing essential services online. It is particularly valuable for individuals who may not meet thresholds for statutory support but still require guided assistance.
Key features of the service:
- One-to-one support with online applications and digital navigation
- Direct referral pathways with CAB, Age UK Croydon, South London Law Centre, Crisis Skylight
- Access to free mobile data and donated digital devices (subject to availability)
- Support for migrants, asylum seekers, and digitally excluded residents
- Volunteer training and signposting in collaboration with local libraries
Clear Community Web currently operates from Thornton Heath Library (Mondays) and Centre 70 in West Norwood, supporting approximately 30 residents weekly. The demand for this service is three times our current capacity, and we are actively exploring opportunities to scale.
This initiative is made possible through the Local Community Partnership and the ongoing support of Croydon Voluntary Action (CVA).
Please feel free to signpost residents or casework to this service.
